INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police responded to a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis Saturday evening.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, IMPD officers were called to the 200 block of Legends Creek Place, near U.S. 40 and South Mitthoefer Road, on a report of a person shot.
Officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound in the stomach when they arrived to the apartment. Police say the victim is currently in critical condition.
IMPD says shell casings found outside the apartment lead them to believe someone was shooting into the apartment from the outside.
Police also say they do not currently have a suspect.
