PENDLETON, Ind. (WTHR) - Pendleton Police and the Madison County Coroner's Office have determined a man's death Friday is a homicide.
Police said 33-year-old Michael C. Beard's girlfriend found him unconscious and not breathing Friday afternoon in a home on West Water Street.
Pendleton police said Beard was bleeding from a wound to his head when he was found.
Police arrested 25-year-old Austin James Frawley on a preliminary charge of murder.
Police said Beard and Frawley were longtime friends.
Frawley is currently in the Madison County Jail on a 72-hour hold.
