INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian that happened Sunday evening.
Just before 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, officers responded to 4500 block of East 10th Street, near North Sherman Drive, for a report of a personal injury hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.
Officers learned a dark-colored pickup truck was going west on East 10th Street when it hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the street from south to north.
Police said the pickup truck left the scene without stopping to check on the pedestrian or give their information.
According to IMPD, medics took the victim to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
As of Monday morning, police said the driver or the suspect vehicle have not been located.
