INDIANAPOLIS — One person was seriously wounded Saturday night in a shooting on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
The shooting happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in the 6400 block of Avacado Drive, near West Banta Road and Interstate 69. Officers responding to a report of a person shot found a victim with gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
There is no information about a possible motive or suspect at this time.
