INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.
Police responded to the 200 block of South Emerson Avenue, south of Washington Street, shortly after 11 p.m. Sept. 11 on a report of a person down. When they arrived, officers found a man who had been shot. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
On Sept. 12, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 58-year-old Darrell Williams and said his death was a homicide.
There is no information about a possible motive or suspect at this time.
