Indianapolis Police are investigating a homicide on the city's northeast side.
Police responded to the shooting on John Marshall Drive, near E. 38th Street and N. Mitthoeffer Road, around 10:30 p.m.
Officers initially said the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later said that person died from their injuries.
The Marion County Coroner's office identified the victim as 24-year-old Timothy Bean Jr.
