INDIANAPOLIS — A 20-year-old man has been arrested on a preliminary murder charge in connection with a deadly shooting on Indianapolis' northwest side Monday evening, IMPD announced Thursday.
The shooting was reported around 8:15 p.m. April 15 in the 4500 block of Glenarm Drive, near West 46th Street and North High School Road.
An IMPD spokesperson said responding officers located a man with a gunshot wound(s) who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead a short time later.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 20-year-old Bryan Matthew Rosa.
In an update Tuesday morning, police said detectives believe the suspect and victim knew one another.
On Thursday, April 18, IMPD announced the arrest of a 20-year-old man, who was taken into custody Wednesday near the Greenwood Park Mall.

"The quick arrest was achieved through the remarkable support of our community, the cooperation of witnesses, and the relentless dedication of our detectives," the department said in a social media post.
Police have not shared any additional information on the circumstances of the shooting.
