FLORA, Ind. (WTHR) - A new investigator is taking over the investigation of a fatal fire here.

13 Investigates has learned detective Greg Edwards will be leaving the case to take on another role at Indiana State Police.

Brock Russell is the new ISP detective taking over the case.

The change comes six months after four sisters ranging in age from 4 to 11 died in a house fire that the state fire marshal's office ruled was deliberately set.

Keyana, Keyara, Kerriele, and Konnie were trapped inside the home on east Columbia Street.

Their mother Gaylin Rose awoke to find smoke pouring from her upstairs.

Just last week, park benches were dedicated in the sisters' memory.

Carroll County Prosecutor Robert Ives told 13 Investigates there would be a new state investigator assigned to the case. "Greg Edwards is going to take a transfer within the department. We're going to have a new detective on this case soon," said Ives.

"I'm angry. They took four lives from me, so I'm angry about the whole situation," said Gaylin Rose, the mother of the girls who spoke about the arson investigation after last week's bench dedication.

No suspects have been named in the case.

Investigators are offering a $5-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.
