More than 50 shots fired outside downtown Indianapolis business

Police were called to the 900 block of North Pennsylvania Street, near St. Clair Street, shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday.

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after more than 50 shots were fired outside an Indianapolis business Wednesday night.

According to a public police report, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 900 block of North Pennsylvania Street, near St. Clair Street, shortly before 11 p.m. Jan. 31.

Police arrived and found 34 shell casings and live rounds in the parking lot of the Living Room Lounge. A bullet hit one of the business' windows as well.

The police report says officers found 16 more shell casings in the street, near Pennsylvania and St. Joseph streets.

Police said bullets broke backseat windows of two cars nearby.

The police report identifies two suspects, one male and one female, but does not list if anyone was arrested.

There are no reports of injuries in the incident.
