Marion police arrest 21 people in 4 days in large drug investigation

Marion's drug task force has arrested nearly two dozen people after a large-scale investigation into the illegal sale of crack cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana.

MARION, Ind. (WTHR) — Marion's drug task force has arrested nearly two dozen people after a large-scale investigation into the illegal sale of crack cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana.

The Joint Effort Against Narcotics (JEAN) Team announced Monday they arrested 21 people between March 21 and March 24. Six of those suspects were arrested for the initial crack cocaine investigation.

  • Zentwell Dyson, 38
  • Tori McFarland, 51
  • Hope Hamilton, 26

All of the suspects are from Marion, and are facing charges ranging from dealing cocaine to false informing.

The remaining 15 people were arrested March 24 after traffic stops and a search warrant at a home on West Jeffras Avenue.

All these suspects are from Grant county, and are facing charges ranging from dealing meth to resisting law enforcement.

Investigations in both cases are ongoing.
