MARION, Ind. — The Marion Police Department is trying to find five men involved in a "shootout" Monday evening.
It happened in the area of 1000 West 3rd Street, near South East Street. Officers got calls about people shooting around 6 p.m. Oct. 30.
When officers arrived, they did not find any victims but did said they found shell casings in the road and parking lot of a nearby business.
Witnesses told officers there appeared to be at least five males in a "shootout."
Three homes and a car were hit by the gunfire. No one was injured.
The police department believes this was not a random incident.
