Bell was convicted of aiding, inducing or causing another person to commit murder and obstruction of justice in May 2023.
According to court documents, the two went to Scott's home so Bell could retrieve items. Hodge said they circled the home a few times to make sure Scott was alone. Bell then went up to the home and said Scott attacked her when she came out.
Hodge told police Scott hit the back of his car, so he got out with a shotgun and fired a shot. He said Scott tried to getaway and hop a fence, but Hodge continued shooting. Scott was shot in the back multiple times.
Hodge admitted he and Bell worked together to cover up the crime.
