INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was found dead with traumatic injuries on Indy's east side Saturday night.
IMPD officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of East Washington Street, near North Sherman Drive, on a report of a person down just before 8 p.m. Oct. 26.
When officers arrived, they found a man outside with traumatic injuries. Medics arrived at the scene, where they pronounced the victim dead.
IMPD homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation.
IMPD said the Marion County Coroner’s Office will be assisting and will determine the exact manner and cause of death.
