ALEXANDRIA, Ind. (WTHR) - A correctional officer from Alexandria has been arrested for child solicitation.

According to our partners at the Herald Bulletin, 22-year-old Cody Allen Skinner, an officer at the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility, was arrested Sunday.

Court documents say Skinner allegedly asked a 13-year-old girl to play a game of "fire truck" and "truth or dare" on Saturday. Police say "fire truck" was determined to involve a man or boy rubbing the upper thigh of another person in an attempt to touch private sexual parts, the newspaper reported.

The girl reportedly refused both requests, which were made via text messages.

Skinner reportedly told police he was just "playing around" and that he knew the girl was 13 years old, but he also said he sent the messages for sexual gratification to arouse himself or the girl.

If convicted, Skinner faces a possible sentence of one to six years in prison. His bond was set at $10,000 during his initial court hearing Monday.
