VIGO COUNTY, Ind. — An Indianapolis man was arrested in West Terre Haute after allegedly soliciting sex with a teenager.
The Vigo County Sheriff's Office said the arrest stemmed from an investigation in conjunction with Predator Catchers Incorporated. The suspect, a 24-year-old man, allegedly agreed to meet with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.
The man previously sent photos of himself to who he thought was a 13-year-old, and asked for nude photos and to have sex with the girl.
"Following (the suspect's) arrival at a location in West Terre Haute for the 'meet' with the female juvenile, further investigation and interviews ensued," the sheriff's office said.
The man was arrested and taken to the Vigo County Jail on a preliminary child solicitation charge.
