INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a woman was injured in a shooting during a domestic dispute on Indianapolis' far east side early Thursday.
The shooting was reported around 3:45 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 8700 block of Calbert Court, near North Post Road and East 30th Street.
Responding officers found a woman who had been shot when they arrived. She was initially in critical condition, but her condition was reported as "stable" at a local hospital a short time later, police told 13News.
A man was taken into custody by officers in connection with the incident.
No additional information on the circumstances of the shooting has been shared by police.
