25-year-old Addam Hart was killed in a shooting in the 2200 block of Gable Drive, March 28, 2024 in Indianapolis.

Court documents say police found more than 30 bullet holes in the house, as well as 31 shell casings on the street and sidewalk.

According to court documents, a 5-year-old was lying in bed nearby where Hart was shot and 12 shots had gone through that child's window.

The day after Hart's shooting, police in Brownsburg were called to a home where a woman said someone drove by her home and shot up her car. She told police she believed the shooter may have been with her son's ex-girlfriend. Police said the son told them his ex-girlfriend had texted that she was going to come pick him up. He said she arrived with other teenagers in the car, including two wearing ski masks. They tried to convince him to get in the car, but he refused. He said that after he went inside, he heard the gunfire.

When police spoke to the ex-girlfriend, she allegedly told them 17-year-old Tyler Gibson was the one that shot at the car, and 16-year-old Savannah Allen was his girlfriend. Police learned the car Allen used matched the description of the car in Hart's deadly shooting.

As IMPD officer's investigated Hart's death, they learned a person who used to live at that house was recently charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and child exploitation. That person also had a rape charge in Marion County and a gun charge in Anderson. That man was allegedly accused by one of Allen's friends.

IMPD stopped and arrested Gibson and Allen in Indianapolis on May 2. When police searched an SUV they had seen Gibson in, they found a gun and ammunition matching what was used in Hart's deadly shooting.

When questioned by police, court documents allege Allen told them Gibson and another male shot up the home where Hart was killed.

Allen said the other male got into the car and said, "I think I got him. I saw a kid drop down in the window.”

When searching Gibson's phone, police found a screenshot of the Citizen app that shows a shooting on Gable Drive and a man unresponsive after being shot.

On May 7, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office charged Allen as an adult with murder. Gibson was charged on May 21 with murder and dangerous possession of a firearm.

According to online records, the next hearing in the cases of Gibson and Allen is scheduled for Nov. 20.
