INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a man died in a shooting on Indianapolis' near northwest side Monday morning.
The shooting was reported around 8:15 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 600 block of West 30th Street, near Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Street.
An IMPD spokesperson said responding officers found a man who had been shot in the road. Medics took him to Methodist Hospital in critical condition. IMPD confirmed the man later died from his injuries.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man as 47-year-old Matthew Collin Stevens.
Police have not shared information at this time about a possible suspect or motive.
