INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after one person was killed and another injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' near northwest side early Friday.

Around 3:30 a.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to a hotel in the 1600 block of Sugar Grove Avenue, near West 16th Street and Indiana Avenue, for a report of a person shot.
