INDIANAPOLIS — Two IMPD officers were involved in a crash on the south side of Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened near U.S. 31 and Epler Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. Feb. 20. The southbound lanes of U.S. 31 were restricted after the crash.
One of the officers was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to be OK, according to IMPD. The second officer was checked out at the scene.
A third car involved in the crash was not involved in the chase. That driver was checked out and released.
The suspects in the chase were caught near the 4100 block of Independence Drive, near South Meridian Street and East Hanna Avenue. Police were chasing them as part of a firearms investigation.
