INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — IMPD confirms an officer was arrested overnight for domestic battery.
Officer Troy Fitts is the third IMPD officer arrested in just a couple of days. Officers Timothy Elliott and Dustin Keedy were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of OWI.
The department is expected to release a statement later today with more information about Fitts' arrest.
Fitts was booked into the Marion County Jail after his arrest. Jail records indicate he will have an initial hearing Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
