INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a homicide after officers found a man's body on the south side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning.
Just before 3 a.m. Aug. 25, officers responded to a report of a person down in the 2300 block of Pagoda Drive, near Garfield Park, according to IMPD.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man's body with reported traumatic injuries. IEMS arrived shortly after and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man as 39-year-old John P. Hamby III.
