3 recovering after shooting on Indy's near north side

The incident happened Sunday night near West 26th and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. streets.

INDIANAPOLIS — Three people are recovering after a shooting on the near north side of Indianapolis Sunday night.

According to IMPD, around 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 18, officers were called to the intersection of West Roache and Rader streets, near West 26th and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. streets, on a report of shots fired in the area.

Officers arrived and found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. IMPD says the victim is awake and breathing. 

Later, IMPD said they had located two other victims with gunshot wounds. All victims are reported to be in stable condition.

No further information was provided by police.
