IMPD confirmed with 13News the boy was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
IMPD said this serves as a reminder for parents.
"Parents need to know where their kids are are at at night, especially if you take a look at the time, it's definitely after curfew time," IMPD Captain Don Weilhammer said. "Unfortunately, we have kids here that are under the age and are in violation of curfew at a party where someone got shot at."
