INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are investigating a shooting on Indy's south side Friday afternoon.
Shortly before noon on March 29, IMPD officers were called to the 2500 block of Shelby Street, which is near the Garfield Park Library, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a victim with a gunshot wound. They were reported to be awake and breathing.
IMPD did not provide further information.
