INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a person was injured in a shooting not far from Perry Meridian High School on the south side of Indianapolis Sunday evening.
Around 8:30 p.m. March 17, officers were called to the 400 block of Buffalo Drive, which is near State Road 135 and a few blocks south of the school, for a report of a person shot.
Officers located a victim with a gunshot wound(s). IMPD did not release the condition of the victim.
Aggravated assault detectives responded to the scene to begin an investigation.
No further information on the incident has been released by police.
