INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD officers are investigating a shooting on the city's south side Sunday afternoon.
According to a release from IMPD, shortly after 2:30 p.m. on April 21, officers responded to the 5100 block of South Meridian Street, near Thompson Road, on a report of a person shot.
Officers arrived and found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. According to IMPD, the victim was reported to be awake and breathing.
IMPD did not release further information.
