INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after officers found a man fatally shot on the near north side of Indianapolis Sunday morning.
Police responded to the 3000 block of Boulevard Place, near West 30th Street and North Capitol Avenue, just before 8 a.m. July 28 on a report of a person down.
When officers arrived on scene, they found 26-year-old Mahlique Abrams shot. He was pronounced dead moments later when medics arrived.
"We remain committed to partnering with the community to bring closure and a solution to this act of violence," an IMPD spokesperson said.
Police have not shared information about a possible suspect or motive at this time.
