INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a man was killed in a shooting on Indianapolis' near east side Sunday night.
Around 10:30 p.m. Oct. 27, officers responded to the intersection of East Brookside Avenue and North Oxford Street, near Massachusetts Avenue and North Rural Street, for a report of a man down in an alley.
Officers found 24-year-old Christian Holly shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide.
IMPD Capt. Don Weilhammer told 13News shortly after the incident that officers had not located any witnesses or determined additional information on the circumstances of the shooting.
