Image released of suspect car in north side homicide

IMPD is investigating after a person was shot and killed in the 3800 block of Cornelius Avenue Tuesday morning.

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a fatal shooting that happened on the city's north side Tuesday morning. 

Police were called to the 3800 block of Cornelius Avenue, near 38th Street and Michigan Road, around 9:45 a.m. on a report of a person shot. 

When police arrived, they found a person dead. 

Investigators are now looking for a dark-colored suspect vehicleIt is possibly a four-door Nissan Altima. 

Police released a surveillance image of the car captured on a nearby security camera.
