INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a Saturday morning homicide on the city's east side.
According to IMPD, shortly before 9:30 a.m. Jan. 27, officers responded to the 2200 block of North Mitthoefer Road, just north of East 21st Street, for a report of a person down. Officers arrived and found a woman in a parking lot with trauma.
Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Homicide detectives responded to begin an investigation.
On Jan. 29, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 58-year-old Shannon Juanita Lassere.
