INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that has left one person dead Sunday afternoon.
It happened just after 3 p.m. in the 3500 block of Woodfront Court at the Wildwood Village Apartments on the northwest side.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a male victim who was unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. The male, later identified as 16-year-old Elijah Taylor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information was immediately available. Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
