INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday evening on the city's near west side.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 1000 block of North Tremont Street, near 10th Street and North Belmont Avenue, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside a home who had been shot.
Medics transported the man to a hospital in critical condition, but medical staff later pronounced him dead.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 21-year-old Tavion L. Taylor.
Police have not shared information about a possible suspect or motive at this time.
