INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday afternoon on the city's near northwest side.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 600 block of West 29th Street, near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
Police arrived and found a man who had been shot in an alley. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
At this time, police have not shared information about a possible suspect or motive.
