INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon homicide on the near north side of Indianapolis.
According to a release from IMPD, around 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 7, officers responded to the 3400 block of Central Avenue on a report of a DOA. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive man who was "visibly apparent to have been deceased."
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and began their investigation. During the investigation, the man was found to have sustained gunshot wounds.
