INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a Thursday evening shooting that left one person dead.
An IMPD spokesperson said officers investigating reports of a shooting around 11 p.m. found a person with an apparent gunshot wound in the 300 block of Park Haven Way, which is near South Madison and East Southern avenues.
The victim, an adult male, was pronounced dead a short time later.
There's no word on whether investigators have identified a suspect in the case, nor whether a motive is known.
