INDIANAPOLIS — Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead with apparent trauma on Indianapolis' northeast side early Tuesday.
Around 2 a.m. Oct. 8, IMPD officers responded to the 5600 block of Wyckfield Way, near 65th Street and Binford Boulevard, for a reported death investigation.
There they found a man inside a home with apparent traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene, an IMPD spokesperson said in a statement.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin an investigation. No additional information on the circumstances of the man's death has been shared by police.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will identify the man once family has been notified.
