INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD Crime Guns Task Force officers arrested two men and two teenage boys in an investigation June 7. The department claims the result was getting guns and drugs off the street.
Officers said they were involved in a firearms investigation in the area of East 30th Street and North Ritter Avenue on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Investigators patrolling an apartment complex parking lot claim they saw a 16-year-old with a gun that the teenager was "prohibited from possessing."
The teenager got into a car and officers stopped it.
The 16-year-old was arrested for carrying a handgun by a prohibited person.
The driver, 41-year-old Frank Williams, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and dealing in marijuana. A 14-year-old in the car was also arrested for marijuana possession.
Officers went back to the apartment complex and arrested 28-year-old Louis Williams for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
