INDIANAPOLIS — Four people were arrested and 20 guns were seized as part of a drug investigation on Indianapolis' near north side, IMPD announced Friday.
IMPD said "possible drug activity" led officers to a location in the 100 block of West 32nd Street, near North Illinois Street. While executing a search warrant there on Thursday, April 18, officers detained and later arrested four people.

The warrant led to the discovery and seizure of 20 guns – 15 handguns (one with machine gun conversion device) and five rifles. It also led to more than 500 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana, 61 grams of suspects marijuana, 125 grams of suspected cocaine, more than 250 "various scheduled pressed pills," 21 games of pressed pills and 28 grams of "blue powder," IMPD said.
More than $1,000 in cash and an SUV were also seized.
Three of the people arrested face a preliminary charge of dealing cocaine, and the fourth faces a preliminary charge of possession of cocaine, IMPD said. Preliminary charges also include maintaining a common nuisance for three people and visiting a common nuisance for the fourth.
Located closely to the house where the warrant was served, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis sent the following statement to 13News on the incident:
"The Children’s Museum is committed to the safety of our visitors, staff, volunteers, and community. We appreciate the vigilance and efforts of our neighbors and law enforcement to keep the neighborhood around the museum safe."
