INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after three people were shot during on Indy's north side Saturday night.
According to police, around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, officers were called to the 2300 block of North Arsenal Avenue, near 23rd Street and Ralston Avenue on Indy's north side, on a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they were notified that someone had been shot. Responding officers found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound and rendered the man aid until IEMS arrived to transport him to an area hospital. IMPD says the man is in stable condition.
Later, IMPD was alerted to another person shot, an adult woman, at an undisclosed location. A third victim, also an adult woman, arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound.
IMPD believes all three victims were shot at the location on North Arsenal Avenue. Police say one person has been detained, but did not call that person a suspect.
