INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' south side Sunday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m. April 7, officers responded to the 7000 block of Emblem Drive, near East Southport Road and Emerson Avenue, for a report of a person shot. Officers located two gunshot victims who were taken to local hospitals.
One victim was listed in critical condition, while an IMPD spokesperson described the other as "awake and breathing."
A public police report listed the victims as one male and one female. Police have not shared any additional information on the circumstances of the shooting.
