The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday near 38th Street and I-465.

INDIANAPOLIS — A man has died after a triple shooting Thursday evening on the west side of Indianapolis, IMPD said.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Wind Drift Drive East, near 38th Street and Interstate 465.

Few details were immediately available, but an IMPD spokesperson said officers investigating a report of a shooting found two men who had been shot. One of the victims, 32-year-old Martell Woodberry, was reported to be in critical condition. Police said the other man was "stable."

A short time later, police found another man shot in the area of 44th Street and Moller Road, not far from the Wind Drift Drive scene. That man was described by IMPD as "stable."

An IMPD spokesperson said Friday morning that detectives believe all three victims were shot on Wind Drift Drive.

Around 7:30 a.m. Friday, IMPD confirmed the man transported in critical condition was later pronounced dead at IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Just before 8 a.m. Saturday, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified that man as Woodberry.
