INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a man was fatally shot in downtown Indianapolis Sunday afternoon.
The shooting was reported just before 1 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 500 block of East Market Street, at The E'Laan Apartments.
When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wound injuries. Shortly after, he was pronounced dead.
Police said they have a woman detained in connection to the shooting. Officers said they aren't looking for any other suspects.
The relationship between the man and woman is unclear at this time.
