INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a person was shot and killed early Saturday morning.
It happened in the 5300 block of Culver Street, which is just southeast of East 42nd Street and Emerson Avenue.
An Indianapolis Police spokesperson said officers investigating a report of a shooting just before 1 a.m. found a victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
There's no word on whether police have identified a suspect in the case, nor whether a possible motive has been determined.
