IMPD: Man critically injured in shooting at east side gas station

The shooting was reported shortly after 1 p.m. Sept. 24 near the intersection of East 21st Street and North Ritter Avenue.

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after one person was critically injured in a shooting at a gas station on Indianapolis' east side Sunday afternoon.

Around 1:15 p.m. Sept. 24, officers responded to the Clark gas station, near the intersection of East 21st Street and North Ritter Avenue, for a report of a person shot.

Officers located a man with a gunshot wound(s) who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

No additional information on the circumstances of the incident has been provided.
