HENRY COUNTY, Indiana — Police in Henry County made arrests Monday as part of a drug investigation that spanned several months, authorities said.
On January 15, 2024, officers from the Henry County Sheriff's Department and New Castle Police executed search warrants for four properties located on Grand Avenue, South 18th Street and two A Avenue properties.
Authorities said the owner of the properties, Kyle Huckeby, 47, of New Castle, was charged with dealing in cocaine, dealing in a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
According to the county's drug task force, police seized 32 firearms, 75 grams of cocaine, marijuana and other controlled substances. In addition, officers found drug paraphernalia and money.
Two other people face preliminary charges of possession of cocaine and visiting a common nuisance, while another person was arrested for possession of cocaine. Three were arrested on allegations of visiting a common nuisance.
