INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a suspected case of road rage where gunshots were fired Friday evening.
It happened around 9 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Michigan Street on the IU Indianapolis campus.
Social media posts from IU's Police and Public Safety Department said the incident happened near the Riverwalk Apartments. They said someone "fired multiple shots directly at" a person's car before driving off.
The suspect vehicle was reported to be a black sedan with a broken taillight and an Indiana "In God We Trust" license plate.
No one was injured.
