Greenfield police arrest two individuals, believed to be major source for narcotics

Greenfield Police and Narcotics Detectives have arrested two individuals who are believed to be major sources for narcotics throughout central Indiana.

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WTHR) – Greenfield Police and Narcotics Detectives have arrested two individuals who are believed to be major sources for narcotics throughout central Indiana.

Narcotics Detectives conducted a surveillance operation in the 2700 block of Bluestone Drive in Greenfield Thursday.

During the surveillance, a suspected drug dealer left the area in a small SUV.

Patrol Officers working with detectives conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 36-year-old Nicholas Tourville.

Tourville had a warrant for his arrest out of Florida for dealing narcotics.

According to reports, Tourville was found to be in possession of a large quantity of cocaine.

Tourville was taken to the Hancock County Jail without incident for his warrant and additionally charged with dealing in cocaine, possession of Cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence that had been under surveillance. Inside the residence officers located Methamphetamine, Xanax, Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, and a handgun with the serial numbers filed off of it.

Officers also located a large trash can with a white powder residue in a bathroom suggesting that additional narcotics were destroyed while officers were executing the search warrant.

The home owner, 35-year-old Diana Stewart was detained and eventually transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.

Stewart was charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of an altered handgun, possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Evidence recovered during this investigation lead Greenfield Narcotics Investigators to believe that these individuals were a major source of narcotics throughout central Indiana.
