FISHERS, Ind. — The Fishers Police Department is investigating after a person was injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon near Saxony Beach.
In a statement provided to 13News, the department said the shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. Nov. 19. The victim arrived at a Fishers hospital with a gunshot wound before being transported to a hospital in Indianapolis.
No information on the victim's condition was provided.
"This does not appear to be a random act and there are no ongoing threats to the community at this time," the department said.
