CARMEL, Ind. — Police in Carmel say a gun was taken from a police vehicle during a string of break-ins this week.
Officers responded to reports of a total of seven vehicles that were broken into on the morning of July 31, police said in a release Friday. Three of the vehicles were police vehicles belonging to different agencies.
Police said a gun was taken from the Carmel Police vehicle.
Investigators have examined the scenes of each of the break-ins, and their investigation is ongoing.
